Oh maybe I am not understanding the definitin of remake. By remake, I thought Ben meant that it is a nearly exact copy of the original game. Are you saying there is no NEW series, as in not a mario, zelda, metroid etc. type game? Also, I would not consider a sequel a remake.s3ptic wrote:Punchinello you are pretty much just confirming the fact that Nintendo is the king of remakes. Of the games you mentioned for the GBA three of them were remakes, and two of them already spawned sequels on the GBA.

No by remake they mean its almost (if not an exact) copy of the orginal to the new system. They did that with mega man. The thing is its not creative, clever or ingenius. To be blunt its cheap!
I know Nintendo is playing something they know will work, people loved their old games so to start off the DS they release a port of Mario 64.
As for sequals, well zelda's been around for a while and they've redone the why the game is played a fair amount of times. I cant say that constintly making a sequal of a game is bad its just your not building something new, different or potentally better (sales wise).
