I was searching on the web for places to buy a Power Player III and found this:

I was excited cause including shipping it would only cost $23.30 total, so I ordered it. But once it finally reached my house I was dissapointed. Not only was it a diffrent model (12000 in 1) but it didn't even have a Famicom Slot! The games are in a cartridge that plugs into the Memory Card Slot! (where the battery pack was supposed to go) This thing is totaly unusable for my portable. Buyer beware.

From what I understand about their return policy they only exchange non working merchandise for an identical product or store credit. Plus I have to pay for the shipping costs again. I probably plan on selling this thing on ebay or keep it since the contrllor is much more comfortable to hold without the famicom slot in the back.

It'd be cool if you could figure out the pinout for that mini cart slot. It looks like a pretty small NOAC (about the size of a hipgear LCD controller)

I think I have. I opened the mini cart and it looks to be the same as a standard Famicom cart with 2 extra blank pins that lead to nothing on each side. I porbably could wire an NES port to it, but after my first unsuccessfull try on a normal Super Joy III, I don't really feel like screwing it up.

The NOAC PCB board is really small 6.5 x 5 cm, a lot smaller than a Hip Gear board, it's actually closer in size to the inside of the LCD screen.

Maybe I'll use it for a future project. I think I'll order a Family Boy or a Yobo NeoFami and use that for my current project and save this one for later.

in my opinion, total awesomeness , except for the no famicom cart slot... that combined with the hipgear controller screen thingy could make a reeeally small NESp, maybe challenging Ben's NES Micro
