radica problem

hey is there a way to fix the radica game problem where it will play all of the NTSC games?

Not really, your either have to deal with having an NTSC Radica or you can look for a PAL verson. Circuitry has been too condenced to change the settings through hardware hacking.

there is not a circuit one could add to selected point on the board or something?

what is so wrong with the hard ware that it would not play every ntsc game?

(Besides it not being designed to)

Chances are the Radica was based off the Genesis 3 which from what I've heard had spotty playablity on games much like the Radica. Otherwise I could only guess that it might be that they left out full support of the 68000 and/or z80, resulting in games not being able to play.

so how could one convert a genesis 3 to a genesis 2?

and if this works.. how does this apply to the radica?

One can not acomplish this. You either live with the limitations or you use a Genesis v.2, which really if you put the screen and controlls over the motherboard it wouln't be that big. I have a v.2, you cut off the expantion and grounding that stick out on the right, and flatten the capacitors you'll have a nice start.
