Woohoo GP2x coming in a couple days!

Post by minkster »

Well, this topic is useless...but I just got an email from GP32z saying that they finally shipped my GP2x, so I should be recieving it in a couple of days. I can't wait! How many of you have one already anyways? Oh yeah they released a new emulator called squidge snes, which runs a few games at full speed....much faster than the other snes emulator.
Just thought I'd inform you guys so this post isn't as useless

squidge snes isnt out yet it is just a tech demo but the other snes emu is alright for now and the genesis emu is absolutely fantastic

EDIT: i guess it is but there is no selector so doesnt that mean you can have only one game at a time?

EDIT2 its really a fantastic machine i hope you get it soon :D and stay away from a vid out cable as of now, they are horrible, they only outpiut s video and the cable is about six inches long. you could probably make your own cable with info on the gp2x wikipedia

Oh yeah, you are right...and I heard about the genesis emulator..it should be quite interesting to see what happens with the GP2x ports to emulators.

I ordered mine two Thursdays ago. I got an order confirmation, but no shipping confirmation (my dad's email was put for the billing address crap, mine was put down for the shipping address, dont know if theyd email me about shipping or not).
Anyways, I'm still waiting, kind of ticked that its taking so long, hopefully I'll get it soon.
Regardless, I'm going to be happy as hell when it does come.

I ordered mine exactly 3 weeks and a day ago...so yeah I did wait a while, but GP32z has a one year warranty on this thing, so its definitely worth it in the end.

Haha nice. I want one of these, but hell, I don't have enough money to invest. Sounds awesome though. Have fun!

Very nice, I've got to fix my nesp...im still waiting for a new LM317T regulator...I think that will fix the problems I've been having with it. In the time being, if its not fixed when I get my GP2x, I'll be playing it on there :P
