Chat room?

Well I think that we should have a chat room for people who need help... more frequently? Like somebody who touches two wires together and then comes back and posts again saying it didn't work, and then gets told to try 2 other wires, and touches 2 other wires, then comes back again to ask for some other wires to touch....like a troubleshooting chat.

Maybe Jeff could host? (For some reason I'm under the impresion he owns a server)

But this is probably against some sort of rule on this forum. Perhaps one COMLPETELY seperate from this site that jsut HAPPENS to have only portablizers in it.

Just a thought.

Anyways, there is a good php chat room for phpBB. I'm sure it could be run without phpbb too.

err.. it's not *mine*, it's just a channel on rizon. (unless you mean the java script, which also isn't mine, it's made by someone else

how about we get one like the chat on bic's forum? i can't get the pluggin i need for gannon's but bic's works fine for me

/me is almost done porting the one Bic uses to the PoD code setup. Kinda annoying since it used PEAR

Edit:
Done with the main code port, you have to be registered and logged in to PoD for it to work.

I'll log into both of them (IRC and PoDchat). As long as the php chat system doesn't kill PoD's' bandwidth...)

Updated the code for the PoD ported phpBB chat. Mainly, I just added name highlighting for different user levels, and '/me' support. I'll add more crap later I guess, but at the moment I'd rather do the layout
