I like my music... LOUD... But.. In school We can have Diskmans.. but The teacher has to tell you how loud you can have it...

So everytime i have my music loud.. the teacher can hear it... Is there anyway to keep My music loud.. but not have the teacher hear it?

(Dont say move away from the teacher :p) Like some how... make a soundproof/ air tight cover that goes over my ear so only i hear my music.. Noone else...

just turn down the music. I can't stand putting music on too loud...gives me headaches. try getting a pair of earmuffs or something and putting them over your headphones.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Get a decent pair of soundproofing headphones. Granted, you'll spend a good $100 on a pair, but they are virtually noiseless, and you'll realize how incredibly crappy your earbuds/headphones are that you have.

Unless you can somehow stop sound waves before they get to your teacher, I suggest you turn down your fancy rap music.

WHAT? HUH? I CAN'T HEAR YOU! :P
Seriously. If you keep your music loud enough for the teacher to hear it across the romm, you're going to have haering problems in a few years. And once you lose some or all of your hearing, that's it. It doesn't come back.

What you should do is get some sound-cancelling headphones, or at least some decent headsets unlike the crappy ones that come with the player or the ones that cost $20. The sound cancelers will block out background noise so you don't have to crank it up so loud. Decent headphones will sound better.

Or you can get one of those headset things people use to block noise and wear it over your earphones. But you'll probably stick out like a sore thumb doing that.

Or just turn the volume down and live with it.

Any way you put it, enjoy hearing while you still can! :P

a cheaper solution than marshall's is to get in-ears. They block off the ear canal from the outside world, so you can play it loud, but the sound stays in your ear. they rock!

How about this...get a hearing aid so that your ears are extra sensitive. Then use regular headphones and turn the sound down to the normal "acceptable" level as instructed by the teacher. The boosted sensitivity will make it seem like you have it up loud, and the teacher won't notice. No, I'm just kidding, don't do that.

As others have said, go with the noise-cancelling earbuds or headphones if you really do want it loud. Or you could just turn it down and live with it, because I have a friend who constantly listened to blaringly loud music last year in school. Because of that, he could barely hear a word the teacher said when he didn't have them on, due to his bad hearing problems resulting from the loudness. Needless to say, he started doing worse in school because he couldn't hear the teacher correctly. So I'd advise not being like him and listening to music at a safer level.

Man are you living in the 90s or what :P

Anyways, theres a link on hackaday or something for how to put headphones in a set of contruction earmuffs. (tho it's not much of a hack) That way you can play your music loud and the teacher won't be able to hear you... granted you will look like a total nerd in every way shape and form, 1: becuase your wearing construction headphones and 2: because you made them youself.

Thankfully by the time i'm old enugh to care about super loud music everyone who will have lessend too it will be deaf and subsiquently won't be lessening to music.

Get a Codec Device, set up a frequency for your ancient cd player.

Just so you know Codecs stimulate the small bones in your ear so only you can hear it
