I was glancing at the recent member count of our happy forum. We have 196 members at this moment not counting the guest featur. Is our forum destined to turn out to be like the one at Ben's old site. Only time will tell.

I dont see that happening.

There isnt a large percentage of members that activly add to the board often. Many just read, search the fourms and a fair number dont even show up. So long as the new members know to use the search function the fourm will do fine.

also, we now have things divided into categories and a better search function. That helps a lot. The main reason there are so many here all of a sudden is that the PS2p was Slashdotted.

Yeah but its only an increase of 20-25 members sence then. On our own we got up to 170 something.

Well, I just signed up for the forums even though I've been following the work of Ben for a year or two now.

I'll be here more often and contributing more.. I just have NO clue what I am doing as far as modding.

I'm going to post my first idea in a few mins..

If you want to get an idea of moding I'd suggest going over all ove Ben's documents about making a VCSp on his classsicgaming site, look at just about everything on Doomportables.org and the search function on the forums. There's a wealth of knowlege that can be had all you need to do is look for it, read it, and apply it.
