Does anyone know if a 12v car adapter can take 14.4v? Im going to wire two 7.2v batteries to run it, but will it be too much?

if the car can only produce 12v it won't be able to power both. i know i have tried...

Since a car battery can vary from 11V-18V it should work fine.

Like gannon said, 12v car adapters are made (usualy) to have a wide input range. The battery can be from 10-14v standby, 7.5v while turning over, and 16v while on the highway. So I don't think it's going to hurt it.
