Yes, let's!

*does a fruit twist*

Ah, how wonderful it is to have different fruit species living in harmony and peace.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

I assume I could get as many posts as you if the content, was equally thought provoking as yours.

I'm 13, and I can't remember the last typo I made (and didn't correct).
Please don't stereotype.

Well then I respect you in the highest form, truely. But in my experience, the "stereotype" fits. Of course not everyone is a leet-speaking, aggressive, english-impared "typer with boxing gloves one", but many of the "kids" I meet online are that.

Has anyone noticed how kids under the age of say 12-14 can't spell a damn thing?

Ummm..... I would be very surprised if they couldn't. I mean
a damn thing
only has 10 letters and 2 spaces! :P

and I am a banana.
Yes you are, but I'm an apple
im the rock climber who like clam chowder

I am deeply disturbed. :wink:

I really wish people would be more careful with typing.

<rand intensity=11>
Seriopusly!
1. "a lot" is NOT a word! "allot" is, and "a lot" is a phrase (which is what "a lot" really is)
2. Neither is "the".
3. "your" and "you're" are not interchangeable! "Proper example: "You're going to eat all your vegetables, and you're going to like it!". "Your" is possessive, as in something that belongs to yo9u. "You're" is a contraction for "you are".
4. Neither are "their", "there", and "they're". "their" is possessive, "there" is a location (go over there), and "they're" is a contraction for "they are"
</rant>

Sorry if that's blindingly obvious, but sometimes the obvious passes over people. Like all the AOLer kids who spend half their time on AIM.

Plus my English teacher is evtremely strict when it comes to this stuff. But she'll grant me extensions on my work if something happens (corrupt file, someone steals my hard copy, etc...). Go figure. :?

There's a time and place for correct grammer, which appears to be english lessons and this thread :lol:

While i myself can spell fairly competently sometimes i cant be bothered to spell properly. So there is a difference between not being able to spell and not bothering to spell :lol:
