First, hi all, as you can see I'm new and I have a question.
I was wondering if it would be possible to build a portable Atari Jaguar. I'm a big Jaguar fan and when I see all these custom built portable consoles I can only drool.
I was directed to this site for the first time today by http://www.atari.org just for the Atari 800XL Laptop. But the things I really found interesting were the portable game consoles like the NES, SNES and the Coleco Vision.
Now I think it should be possible to build a portable Atari Jaguar, but I simply lack the knowledge to do it myself and ofcourse, I'd need a second Jaguar for it as I don't want to destroy the one I have.
Regards,

Someone already built one so I would say it is possible. I don't think it would be easy though.
Here is the only one I know of http://portablesystems.net/jaguar.htm

Well it will run you about $200 to make the portable. Jaguars are not cheap on ebay, and you will have to build everything yourself. If you do go for doing this you will have to learn to solder first, and be good at it to a degree.
