i bought a playstation of ebay with a screen [ my old playstation died wiel tring to make it portable]. i have batteries already but they equal up to 14.4v [two 7.2v batteries] i need something to bring it down to 12v or do i? plz help

you don't wire them in parell instead so you have 7.2 volts and twice as much gameplay

You'll either need some voltage regulators or some dc-dc converters if you're using an original playstation.

yes thats enough voltage i think the psone uses a 7805 5+volts voltage regulator... (gannon knows... he knows everything)

7.2 volts is just enough and you need all those amps

i am having trouble making a parellel ciurcut [ i sort of forgot how to make it
] i have it wierd like this - and - are atached and
+ and+ are connected then the connect to the device [right now a 12v fan] is this right?

well negative or - is connected to ground and positive or + is connected to the power input on the regulator. You can find a pinout
