Ben: We don't have a city name yet but it certainly won't be called Madison. Who sees a crazed portablizer shooting people with glue guns in Madison anyway?
Check your mail, I sent some details about your character. I'd still like a good face texture.
Bic: Great job on the text! I didn't know how approach that but you hit the nail right on the head!
As far as the cover goes, I think we'd better wait until we can see what the game will actually look like. I don't want it to be too much a copy of GTA.
HK-47: That's a pretty good iron, though it doesn't quite need that much detail, a little less would suffice.
Jeff: That's a funny cover
I wonder how many other people caught the 'Praystation' bit. "You a super rucky rucky man! You get a pweview of da PrayStation 3!"
I think I'll share some details of the progress.
1. There's a lot of good stuff being posted here, but it has to be organized somehow. I'm working on a website for Grand Theft Portable.
2. The game is targeted at 'E'veryone, I'd like to keep it away from the 'T' rating if possible. This may mean removing some of the bodily references, even if they are funny.
3. Although the game will be tile-based, some of the tiles will be different sizes. I'll make a file with the indexes of the tile's dimensions. I don't want this game to look like it's been through a cookie cutter, if you know what I mean.
That's all for now, I'm still on the textures and tile-making.
