by parts i mean tiny stuff...like the headphone jack and DIP switches. The main stuff (batteries, unit, screen) was $270 which is well worth it.

lol Kid, you seem to be just a tad demanding.

Sorry if I don't devote my life to writing instructions on how to tell you to make your portable PS2. I am working on them but I (obviously) have other obligations to fulfill. And keep it mind that while the site may not be much for you (although it is a decent amount of Genesis info found nowhere else) it is 100% free and written FOR you, so maybe you might try appreciating it a little, huh?

I'll try to have the instructions finished in the next couple days. It's taking a while because I'm drawing a lot of diagrams to keep things easy to understand. What I CAN give you though, is a list of what you need:

WHAT YOU NEED:
-PSTwo Slimline console w/Dual Shock 2 Controller
-Official PSOne screen
-Rechargeable li-ion ot li-poly batteries w/charger (I recommend Ben's battery-the Initial 9V 5400mah li-ion Universal DVD battery Model No. RB-270)
-Soldering Iron (15W or less)
-Solder (get the thinnest stuff)
-Dremel rotary tool w/saw blade bit, polishing bit, and smallest possible drill bit
-*very thin* wire (I recommend the super thin blue/red wire at Radio Shack)
-Headphone RCA jack (make sure it has at least 4 pins underneath, one that is for disconnection when a jack is plugged in)
-10 mini SPST switches (try to get the combined set of 10 from Radio Shack or from Fry's Electronics-it cost's around $2)
-Memory card (if you want one built in)
-4 Tactical push button switches
-spare black sheets of plastic (you can get this from anything salvaged pretty much, you'll be cutting it off with the dremel)
-Electrical Tape
-Glue (for holding plastics. The 'ALL-Purpose Adhesive at Radio Shack works well and it's under $3)
-experience

It is a pretty long list, but this project is not meant for people who don't have some of those items already (i.e. soldering iron, solder, electrical tape, etc.) It is NOT a simple project for n00b console modders and it should only be performed by people that have made portables before. I'll have the instructions and diagrams finished soon. Thanks to those of you being patient...

Feel Free to use your own materials. I'm just telling you what I used and the RadioShack All-Purpose Adhesive has worked great for me on many projects.

Heh...that's the bad part =P I use it as little as possible though, and usually for things that won't break.
