My friend has two colecovisions; I've been trying to grab one off him for a while now.

I dont get, Why is thier a 2600 cart in your colecovison portable?

Ben,
They do have a COAP (Collecovision-on-a-chip) I saw one at my local Dollar General, but I think it just plays the emulated games on the chip.

Yeah those are like the Intellivision PnP systems, all emulation on an NOAC. Guess I wasn't too far off when I asked if it was the Collecovision PnP system.

Hey Ben as you've build a Collecovision portable, does this mean you may be open to making an Intellivision portable in the future?

I think you actually had to be around, and playing games, in 1982 to remember the Colecovision. I was only 7 at the time but I remember.

It was actually kicking Atari's butt quite well until the crash happened.

Course I also remember back then having a rotary phone - something else many of you may not remember.

That's the Colecovision version of Frogger - the cart looks identical to the Atari. The cartridges are almost the same size, too. Though the Coleco has more pins for addressing, up to 32k I believe.
