Ok well yes if you can't tell, I'm new to the portabalization sene. Though not new to basic electronics.

Here is my plan, wich is finally started.

I'm going to be using the NES motherboard. Cuting it down ofcourse. Going to make a way for my RF modual I think it is? Has the AV output ect, detachable. Meaning if I want I can re-atach it and use the portable as a standard NES.

My CASIO 880 TV might prove to be a problem, but I'm not sure. I'm going to keep it's AV headphone like jack input so I can conect a number of things to this portable. Also going to keep the TV tuner and fix a detachable antena.

So basicly it'll be multi funtion. Looking at the NES mobo I can see that the tabs for the cart slot are double sided. So I'm going to cut one side in half and solder my riben cable to it and solder the other half to the existing solder points.

The cart conecter is going to be turned so I can install the mobo in the position as the original GBO. What I have already done is aquired the TV, aquired the second mobo, and already configured my controler to slide conect into the portable casing once finished. I also plan on being able to remove the controler and conect it to my fashoned cord so I can still use it on my original NES since my resorces are rather limited.

Yes I know, need to pick up the famus book. Suposed to be geting it within a day or so.

Controler still works great. So I have no regrets of how I moded it. I just hope I can actually get everything built.

Good, good. There is an excellent guide in the book on how to modify the cart connector for exactly what you're doing with it. Just don't break any pins off and you're fine.

Ah yes, well I've been looking at the cart conecter and what I plan on doing is cuting the plastic to the original cart end off. (the end that has the weird angle) Then I 'm going to trim the plastic from the edges that of the conecter that ataches to the mobo. Making the cart plug in on the mobo side, and making a better conection.

After that, I'll solder my riben cables to the cart conecter. Wich should be simple enougn. I might have to raid one of you other portablizers for a female NES controler plug so I can make my NES to PARALEL adapter for my PC.

I hooked up a NES to one of those little TV's once. It was horrible. The resolution was way off so everything was just a bunch of halftones that went together to make an overall image, and there was terrible motion blur (even worse than a PSP )!

Well motion blur I can deal with, as I do already. However I have managed to get it to not wash the image out.Can't remember the name for the device, but I riped it out of a joystick and now use it for a video intensity dial.
