New newbie help question?

O.k hello everyone i am new here and all. I am intrested in this fieild and i want to start a project of my own. I wanted to make a ps1 portable but i dont have the small ps1. So i dont know what will be a good start for me as a begginer. Here are a list of stuff i have below. can some 1 plz tell me what i can build with the things thnx.

Game Boy Color
playstation 1(bigger and gray one)
GameBoy Advance chip, and controls
Playstation 2
Four Dollars to finnancially sopport my projects.

btw iam only 13 i need helping with connecting wires i need a guide or something. Ladyada's game grl had wire connection stuff like purple 2k, i dont understand some 1 plz help thnx.

PS1 - you can try to make a portable
GBA - Nothing
PS2 - can to try to make a portable
$4 - Nothing
