I live in massachusetts, cape cod actually, about a week and a half ago out of nowhere we had this little mini blizzard, not very much snow fell, but it was windy and the snow was heavey. Anyway A tree fell over across my driveway and ripped the powerlines at my house right off the pole. This caused a major surge that destroyed quite a few appliances in my house. the power wasnt restored for a week. Lucky for me I keep all the stuff in my room on surge protectors. The only thing that was affected in my room was my xbox.
It puts out a very annoying hum over the regular audio signal, i tried changing cable as I had a couple of them lying around, but it seems apparent that the damage is permanent.
I was just bored so I thought I'd share that story.
Power surge screwed up my xbox audio signal...
