The wonderful world of iPod

I just recieved an iPod (30GB, video) for chrsitmas. Is there anything fun to do with it besides listen to music watch videos and that stuff. Like I heard something about an RSS feed, so you could go to websites or be updated on the news sections, Could I do this with the forums on benheck? Can someone explain this to me please?

well one thing you can do is change the font using ipod wizard

hey. ya i love my ipod...for christmas i got a sweet ipod radio/clock dock.
but ya...the rss feed to podcast was shown on make
it has to do with feed2podcast. makezine has some other sweet stuff to do too. I like making my own podcasts. its super easy. cnet has a great tutorial
I use audacity. But make sure you download the L.A.M.E. mp3 encoder.

and if you want to put movies on your ipod. here is a great tutorial for videora ipod converter. its the best free one out there. but make sure you only put movies you own on there

There is also the option of putting linux on it... though really thats just a novelty as I see it.

Yeah I got one too and Im waiting for podzilla (linux for ipod) to work on 5th generation ipods, then I can put iDoom on it

Im about to try this with my ipod and I will report back to tell if it works, pretty neato if it does

EDIT: I got the audio to work, left and right, but for some reason the video wouldnt work. I am gonna look into it further, I did find the cable you can buy though, think you might have to change the settings? ya...

EDIT wow it works this is neato, its kinda low quality, but what ever, portable media! Now i just want it to play flash

I have this for my ipod and i want to listen to the davinci code off of my ipod when i fall to sleep. It charges the battery when the ipod is connected so i dont want to leave it on all night. My cousin said when the battery is full it quits charging. Is this true?
