A bunch of crap messed up this week, so now I'm stuck with a problem.

I have to pay for half of the gift my dad got me - an iPod with Video - with all the gift cards I got for christmas + some of my own money.

I really can't spend $230 ($180 in cards, $50 in cash due to Can. Taxes >.<) right now, I'm broke as it is.

How do you reccomend me to get some really copulate quick money in 12 hours?

Well, think about it this way, Do you really want the Video Ipod that badly? If you do, then enjoy the present even though you had to pay for a portion of the price. If you don't want it, you can always return it so you can use the money for other things to buy. IMHO I would be thankful because its the thought that counts.

As for money.... you can either sell some of your stuff to make up the difference. Or Minkster might be right, give the iPod back and just save up what you have to to get it.

I'm about $100 short to get an iPod (video) and so I'll likely put the money away til I have enough. Watching video, listening to MP3s and having a pocket size hard drive of 30GB is every college kid's dream.

I was just trying to say that if he wanted to spend the rest of his money on the ipod, then he should if he wanted it that bad. If it was me, I would probably do that...I don't mind being broke for a couple of weeks
