i just put it in my case and removed the 7808. stupid me decided to plug in the wall adapter again. i dont know if i fried it though. wouldnt the backlight have at least gone on if i had power going through the screen pad? i wonder if you think the audio board is fried or not?
EDIT: ok i know the screen isnt fried the backlight is going on but do you think i fried the audio amp is there any signal i should be looking for or would anyone have any extra hipgear scraps with the audio amp i could have, im gonna try hooking something up to it tommorrow but for now its time for me to rest up

i dont think i fried the amp i just think its not getting enough power or something odd like that because i am getting sound but you cant hear it unless you are right next to the speaker
