Which part of the Nes plug is neg. and which is pos.? As in the inside and the outside?

NES uses AC so neither.

? What? Ok lets clear this up which part of the plug would I solder the + and - of a battery?

Mine says the center of the DC plug is positive (+12V), and the outside is negative (ground).

If it's AC, it doesn't matter(which is what gannon said).

But NES uses an external, not internal, AC to DC power supply. So he needed to know the polarity of the DC plug.

Nope, the NES uses AC input. My adaptor says AC out, and I'm sure that's what gannon's says.

The newer PSUs for the NES output DC, but the NES can use AC or DC in any polarity because of it's more common and earlier AC psu.
