Question about the red 5mm led for the controller

I am at the step in the book for the CNC playstation where I need to solder the 5mm led to the controller. Not a biggie except for the fact that the controller I have seems to have an LED build into the board...I am using the controller that has the ribbon cable in the center of it, and the LED appears to be beneath the ribbon cable. There was another controller that I had destroyed, and that one had an LED near the bottom of the controller that I desoldered. But this one is slightly different

So my question is, where else can I solder the LED to I can get it to work?

Find the +5 V. pin. But wire positive through a resistor if you want it to last.
