Except the F1-F4 buttons are on the top behind the stick, maybe this is another version, PAL or something crazy.

Well like I said in a P.S. in the "Ben's two new portables" thread they have a colecovision Plug-n-Play now. I doubt its a real coleco hardware, but its something to look at if your into the Colecovision.

Anyone know if any release of the C64 DTV 2.0 is planned.

Anyone think there is any plan for an Apple][ on a chip.

Actually there is this kid's learning laptop thing that is an Apple][, I'm not sure if it's any more intergrated or not, though. Also, there is a module for the Mac IIc that is a full hardware implementation in a couple of chips. The later is rare and expensive, so it's not a good canidate for portablizing. I can't remember the name of the laptop, but it has no LCD of it's own (hooks to TV), and has cartridge storage in it's lid where the screen would go in a normal laptop.

If you count parts of the PS2, you can say that there's a PS1OAC. The PS1 processor was built into the PS2's I/O processor. You couldn't use it by it's self, but if you sat down and figured it out, you could probably find a way to use the single chip as a PS1.

Many but not all. The Flashback 2.0 is an actual Atari on a chip. The reason most are just ports of the games to an NOAC is that its easier to port software then it is to invest time and money into making a custom chip that works like the original hardware.

I will say that the market for retro gaming and hardware is coming in strong. The Flashback 2.0 is proof of that. I would like to see them work on other 8/16bit compters that were popular. Hell I'm sure Triton would just about slit his wrist to get an Amiga on a chip, esspally if its based off an Amiga 4000.
