good idea! I could do that with an SP and a TI83. But, with the MPSONEP and school, I'm already bogged down in terms of projects.
i was thinking of doing this because my freind are retards and will sell me there gba sps for $30 and then anoth kid would buy it for $100 giving me a $70 profit i wouldnt want to play it during school i need to pay attention :P

TI-83 calcs are masive compared to normal calcs so basicly you gut the TI 83 and the SP and jam the SP into the TI-83s shell.

It woudl be cool to find something cheap and fun to do with them (besides the obvious eye-straining playing of the thing).
If you could find a 3V to 5V step up regulator a NOAC (and possibly a screen) could be plopped in there. Does such a thing exist?

putting it in a ti-83 wouldn't be that hard:

keep the ti-83 buttons/ mobo in there. Take out the crap screen that comes with it and put in a game boy screen. Use an adaptor to do link it to the ti and gb. Then put in the gb mobo running wires to the calc buttons, so no extra buttons are needed! Then have a switch to go from the gb video to the ti video. When ur in class playing and a teacher comes towards you just switch it over to the ti video and yuo'll be A-ok! 8)
The only reason I bought an XBOX instead of a gamecube was because of the crappy zelda graphics. Now getting a rev because of Zelda graphics with no HD...irony: I think so!

an adapter to link the ti and the GBA? if GamingRev doesn't know how to put a GBA SP inside a calc., surely he can't write some kind of converter for the ti screen output to the GBA's input....
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

You would never really link the ti and the gb together, just the lcd screen thats it. They would run seperately, have differnt video lines. The only thing that they would shre would be the batteries and the lcd screen. But the lcd screen would be switched over to which ever one u wanted g2g to skool now talk more bout it later...

edit:

@ skool so can't talk long but it all really depends on how the ti gets its video. but if its different than the gb, than mostly likely would need a converter, which it probably is. heres a pic of wut i think it would like something like : www.freewebs.com/jrush/gbti.jpg
g2g back to java class now. peace...
