I have the PS2 version of that thing, it's exactly the same (probably) except for the A/V jack (for PS instead of GC)

I took it apart yesterday, and (according to tim) it IS a PS1 screen, just in a different case.

I'm not wanting to get off topic, just ask a general question:
My screen has 2 headphone jacks. Should I get rid of one or keep both?

How can you say it's exactly the same thing then say "probably"? Heh. Is it or isn't it? This sucker runs off of 12V as opposed to the PSone screen which runs off of 7.5v... Maybe your PS2 screen runs off a different voltage? But guessing and saying "probably" or "i think" doesn't really help your argument...

Anyway this isn't meant to be a "replacement" for PSone screens, just an alternative. If you can still find PSone screens, by all means get THAT because they're way more useful right now. But they are getting hard to find new. To each his own, I just wanted to share what I found.

it looks and sounds like it is a verge screen. I have the same one for gamecube. The internals are the same as a PSOne screen. Verge doesnt use the same inputs as the PSone screen, I dont know why. The solder into components on the board. Down the road those mods gave me some trouble. I tapped into where the main inputs on the PCB pads at the base are, and it all works just fine. Sound, RGB, Video, and power. The screen can be run off of 7.5V, but you neeed to get rid of the base that it sits on.
