first the idea
i always wondered,is it possible to make a portable nes/snes smaller than the nes micro by making it in 2 pieces?
really,an idea:
the first piece:
the first piece can be the protable part,it will play the NES/SNES game like any other, only one thing:there will be no cartridge slot, wich brings me to the second piece
the second piece:
the second part will be like a downloading port, the first piece will be "plugged in" to the second piece, where there will be a cartridge slot in the second one, that way when you plug it in it downloads it temporarily into the first piece, where it can be easily deleted later for the next game to be downloaded, the second piece could also be "connected" to a computer to download small things like a clock or something to the first piece, good idea?
*looks above*
erm,it sounded better in my head
also,i keep getting this irritating question whenever i see a ps2 or dreamcast portable, can they go online?and if not, could it support Wi-Fi?
an idea and a question

you could have a small controller/screen module thats permanently hooked up to the battery/mobo/game module with a wire. you can keep all the big stuff in your backpack or something, and just have what you need in your hands.
this is probably the only way it would be possible to make an xboxp
