My machine with the XP 2700+ and 512MB ram runs fine for what I do, which isnt high, or even medium, end gaming.

Biostar is a very reputable manufacturer, offering everything from crappy low-end motherboards to high-quality SLI enabled motherboards, including Wireless networking cards as an accessory. I would never question the quality of an Aspire PSU.my guess is the PSU and Motherboard are crap. I've never even heard of Biostar!
Most FX5700LE's use an underclocked FX5700 core. A little overclocking will remedy that problem. And FX5700LE's are actualy less powerfull than FX5500's
Congratulations, you are a rare and anomolous exception to the norm!geforce 4 2.53ghz 512mb pc2100ram 100gb hdd and the aformentioned gfx card and i run h2 on medium to medium high at 30-60 fps averaqge

I wanna get the http://www.compusa.com/products/product ... pfp=BROWSE thing, but, I'm not sure there IS a PCI slot. I'll open it up and check...or call Dell, which I f-in hate...or I'll make a MAME arcade out of this P.O.S computer.
