I get vertical black bar on my 2600, i think i have damaged my um6526n (stella) on my Atari junior. It looks like the black bar a comming directly from pin # 9.
Anyone have had this problem ?
Where can i find another um6526n ?

If you're talking about the thing on the side, that's perfectly normal with Ben's mod... the picture isn't perfectly centered. As for the chip, that's the one on the bottom, just as it's written

It's the normal Pitfall II cave background.
As far as your interference problem goes, did you follow the instructions down to the letter? (ie cut off all the stuff you're told to cut off)? If not then you will probably get RF interference since the shielding is gone (removed to take a pic of the processor chips I assume).
Did you use all the correct parts for the composite mod?
Did you double-check your wiring?
Your pic looks a lot like RF interference to me.

I have done the new video mod, exactly the same think, except deconnecting components. Anyway with the result i get (see picture) i doubt it is interference. I had no sucess, now redone the new video mod, this time using pot 1k for the luma values (0,1,2) preset at the value given in the mod just to tewak a bit, but still no success... and i am not talking about the bar that will re-appear if i can get the image stable...
Anyone have made the new video mod on the Atari 2600 junior with a UM6526N ? Maybe it can be done on a UM6526N.
