Easy, figure out which assignments/tests can be mediocre but still easily let you pass the class and budget your time by rushing through it/them. Remember an 'F' can be as high as 59%, and life only needs to average out to a 'C'. Those fruity teachers won't drop your score below 50% if you turn in *something* resembling a project.
I guess that's more of a college attitude...
wait, how come a writing/lit class has you doing *art* projects? What a waste.

How long did you have to do this assignment?
I'd start with the stuff you can do on the computer, such as the timeline, the character analysis, and the letter. (the letter can be done in something like 15 minuites) Maybe the poster too.
So all that's left is the diarama and the tape. The diarama is fairly easy; just make/find some pictures of colonists from the era. Then print them out and spray-glue them onto cardboard. You can then cut them out and leave a base so they stand up like a pop-up book.
As far as the tape goes, stage it in the back yard. Re-enact part of the scene where someone gerts burned at the stake (pile of firewood with a board or broomstick sticking out of it). To depict the burning, make a model in the dirt, stick a cheap action figure on it (dressed in paper clothes that look like the actor's), spray with a fuel and light. Tape it burning with your friend screaming into the camcorder's microphone. Something like that. BE CAREFUL WITH FIRE! (duh
)
Break the project up into smaller projects. That always helps me. For example: You can do a couple of the computer things tonight (like the letter and such). Also, try calling some friends to help you with the video. Tomorrow finish the computer projects and start on the diorama. Over the weekend, make the diorama and film the video. on Monday, finish everything up, add and improve upon what you did if possible. Everything helps.
Divide up the time each day, so you still have time to study and do whatever. Try to bias the time a little bit toward the parts of the project that are worth more in the grade, but don't forget the lesser parts. And you may want to stay off the forums until you're done with it.

Oh.
Well then write out the letters and stuff, and draw everything.
(or print out the pictures and more or less trace them.
Loophole)
