I know LCDs can get dead pixles or stuck pixles. But what about CRT TVs?
I'm wondering because my old 21" RCA TV from like 1982 has, if you look really damn closely, a green dot that always stays green or black but not red or blue. If you look really closely there are tinny pixles made of red, green and blue bars... I don't know maby it's a common thing but it's the first time i've seen or heard of anything like this.

Degaussing only affects the deflection yoke, I'd guess the problem is with the missing phosphur elements at that pixel. Like tim said it's probably a defect. Old tvs are strictly analog and there's no other way just a single pixel can just stop working (if it was a e- gun or yoke problem the whole image would be affected)

You are describing how all displays produce color, with red, gren, and blue sub-pixels.If you look really closely there are tinny pixles made of red, green and blue bars...
I've seen some CRT's that have a funny little additional pixel on the middle of the top or middle of the bottum, which is always the same color. Probably a result of manufacturing techniques or restrainst.
