portable screens

Hi, I'm sure somebody already asked this a while ago, but I couldn't seem to find the proper thread. I am planning on making my own PS2 portable, and I am wanting to use an 8 or 10 inch screen if possible. does anybody know of any screens of these sizes that are low power draw and preferably run 8.5v (not a requirement, 12v or less is)? also, does anybody know how much it is to have a custom vacuum formed case made? thanks

you could find a small LCD TV for the screen, but 8'-10' is kinda big. not too big of course, nothings too big check out the screen ben used in his atari laptop, see if you can get one of those

thanks S q u e e !, that site has stuff that i can use. i might not use an 8", they have 7" widescreens for 181.00. 150mA less.

My big screen was labelled for 12V in, but it still had the same 7805 inside it. I've run it at 9V with no noticeable difference in quality of picture/sound and it may run off of less. Most of these "bigger screens" are going to have 12V DC in lines for easy installation in vehicles (their intended use) but probably regulate it down to a more "normal" voltage.
