Is that the actual draw added up by measuring the voltage lines? Or is that measuring what goes through the power supply? (Inefficieny is not factored in then)

Or is that what the power supply is rated for, maximum?

My PC probably pulls around ~450W, 160?, so what? Just shows what a piece of junk that thing is.

i played one today at best buy
the graphics looked prtty good but i dont get what that xbox sign in the mid of the controller does???

That's not so insane. The lightbulbs above me use more than that.

I think it's safe to say, though, that this second Xbox is the one that can't be made portable.

But those are probably at 120V. A 200W lightbulb at 120V draws about 1.67A, and could work at a lower power. An XBOX 360, which uses a few voltages(probably +12V, +5V, +3.3V, -5V, and -12V), will probably draw a few amps.

I read the Xbox 360 uses less amps per hour then the original Xbox. The thing is, is that it I believe was about 1.6 amps specific which is still a lot. I'm not going to think is impossible to make the 360 a portable, just highly improbible.
