Help With Our School Food Drive!

Post by Jeff »

Yes, I know you all think this is me asking for money using a scam and that it will go straight to my pocket, but its not true.

Its me representing my school asking for money that won't go into my pocket, but will go into buying food for our school food drive.

If you have a heart to donate for the homeless/homed but poor, send money via paypal to gamingoasisfan@gmail.com, but put "For the Food Drive" in the notes/subject/whatever paypal asks for as a comment or whatever.

-Jeff

PS: Thank You Very Much, Have A Great Day, Etc.
Also, I'm donating 10% of what I get from my ebay lots to the drive too, but more money would probably come out of it if you just donated.

Also, try and keep donations at least $2 (Paypal takes a nifty chunk out of it).

My schools' got freaky. If your class (freshmen, sophmore, junior, senior) collected the most, they get a half day off, placed coincidentally on the same day as the prom. Every year, seniors win (duh...). This year, juniors rallied together and collected 6,492 cans. So it's the last day and seniors have 526 (freshmen have 412, and sophmores have 44 :P ).

Seniors then got ugly.

We were bringing in can and they locked us out. Then they stole cans, threatened about 100ish freshmen (rough estimate), and began trying to get "rules" enacted to get us "dissqualified" (we were just trying to feed the poor, for christs sake).

We won, but not before the seniors got a full 2,00 of our cans marked to themselves. 4,492 to 2,538 still wins. Now there's a rumored jump-a-junior day comming up. We're planning to develop methods to protect ourselves (the basis of which is just don't walk alone...4 or more). I can't believe I feed the poor and have be put on a hit list for it.

I'm disgusted and afraid.

I seriously doubt there is going to be any violence. If so, whe school should be notified, or if it's too late sued. Especially if it's organized into a list (evidence)
now, how large of a size difference is there between a junior and a senior anyway? it's not like they're beating up on 10-year olds... Sounds like a pretty fair fight anyway.

Meh, it could be worse (size-wise).

Even freakishier (real word, I swear) is that we told the princ, and she said we were being "paranoid"... :?

I tend to agree, but since the principal said it, I'd try to get beat up by a senior as hard as I could. make sure you carry a bag of cans around with you all day. By 'we' I assume you have a witness to your telling the principal, there's no need to 'take one for the team' if money isn't involved.
