Top loading nes

Quick question:What is a top loading Nes?And hows it different from a side loader?

um why didnt you just google top loading nes, and it loads from the top thats about it, and the video is messed up i hear

The top loading NES was released later, it loads from the top and doesn't have as many blinky problems. It only outputs RF so portablizing it is weird. It came with its own redesigned controllers. It's rare so it's expensive.

Rare and expensive?!There's hundreds of 'em on Ebay for about $2!What do you mean by "blinking problems"?

The "top loaders" on ebay for $2 are 99 times out of 100 famiclones by yobo or some other company. I've seen the NES top loader go under $50 (which seems to be less than a mini-SNES is going for recently) on ebay.

The NESs' problem that causes it to blink colours when you turn it on. If you owned an NES, you'd know about it.

Yeah Darth Fett when you'd turn on a NES with a game not getting the signal from the cartridge, it blinks and won't stop until you get it out and put it in better.

I got a Toploader at the flea market for $20.

I found my toploader in the downstairs bedroom, face down on the carpet, in the box (was mint, in other words). Unfortunetly, heavy rains caused flooding in that bedroom and the box was drenched. The system seems ok. It wasn't drenched, but looked like it was sweating. I let it dry out, but have not tested it yet.
