yeah but theres $40 on top of everything. im going to see if i can just make a single 6x6 board with 9 little boards on it, then have school CNC it out for me. then ill cut them apart myself.

im going to test mine on an experimental board, if it works i might make some pcb's but theres not point me making them all as they will almost always need different resistor and diode vaules depending on the battery

i figured its about time i bumped this thread back to page one with an update.

i tried to make the chip work between my physics and algebra exams, but nothing happened. or more accurately, i had a short, the whole thing heated up to 100 degrees, then after i fixed it nothing happened. i might try to swap the chip out and put a new one in (i thought ahead and got 5 samples, i knew id end up destroying some...), but the setup i had was laughable... i couldnt find all the values of resistors that i needed, so i was like making huge chains of 1Mohm resistors to acheive 5Mohm, etc.

so my point is that im going to order all the parts that i need of digi-key, surface-mount style, and get a proper board machined for me at school, and try to do this over again all properly. after exams.

To be honest i havent really made an attempt to do mine, what with it being very battery specific (as ive said), and i planning to use this on my SNESp, but my battery is being funded by santa, so igot a bit of a wait, ill do it over the holidays
