yeah, that's pretty common, actually. a bit spendy, especially for newegg, though.

Yah i have those. About them about a month ago at battery space. I think it was $34 for 24 of them.

my favorite battery so far would defenitly have to be the platinum polymer li-poly batteries......they're small and they recharge quickly using a li-poly charger

The best batteries I currently own are a pair of 7.2V, 3000 mAH Ni-MH....

I'm using some 2250mAh AA NiMH batteries I got off of ebay for around $1.05 each. I think li-poly are the best, but they're expensive.

I'll have to use 4 or 8 AAA batteries for my Atari...so I'll probably go to Radio Shack or something...

4? thats 4.8 volts yopu need at least nine for the color potentionometer

hmm...you know, if you set the color pot lower you could use a lower voltage with it....

I only have a Ni-Cd 7.2v (mistake when buying) and a Ni-MH 9.6v. There alright, but after reading Ben's how-to on the PS2p I'm thinking of buying one of those DVD player batteries, 5600mA isnt too shabby at all.

really? hmm... I see....then I'll use my secret power circuit....

It will allow 8 AAA batteries to output 9.6 and 4.8 volts simultaneously with equal power drain.

It would work much better than a 7805...
