SNESp Preview (Warning Large Pictures)

Here is my SNES as of this morning. I still need to cut the hole for the screen, the power switch, and the start and select buttons. Other than that and some wiring it is almost done. Let me know what you think.

Reminds me of the blank from Dick Tracey. The layout is nice just get that screen and it will look better.

And just a suggestion, use links or reduce the size of the images. We really dont need images posted right in the forums that will be bigger then 400x400.

I'm no expert, but I have a few constructive comments:

1) The screws should probably be on the back.

2) The cartridge shouldn't stick past the top.

Doesn't really matter that much, but I think it would look better.

The screws are on the front because the case is aluminum and I can't cut it very good with a dremel tool, so I took off the face plate and made one out of engraving plastic. (The face plate was also aluminum and to thick for buttons which is why I made a new one)

The game sticks out of the top so that I can grab it and remove it

I may set it a little deeper in the case but some of it will stick up.

I am using a Radio Shack battery, probably the 7.6v. Right now it is running off 4AA's. I may get the 9v if it will run the Hipgear screen better. The battery fits under the cartridge in the case, which is also why the cart sticks out.

The case is a Hammond 1590D enclosure the dimensions are 7.4" L x 4.75" W x 2.2" H. That is kinda thick but it had to be to get the cartridge and everything in the case. They make it in aluminum clear acrylics and other materials. You can buy them at http://www.partsexpress.com/ or go to the hammond website for a better selection. The
