I think AIM has to be one of the main reasons for kids being illetrate. What ever happend to spelling and grammar? Oh, thats rightm AOL raped it, like everything esle they got involved in.

I use Trillian or Miranda. I use AIM service only cause noone uses anything else. I havent used the actual AIM client since 1998. Back then i was able to insert VB Code into my icons... fun.

And i agree with Bico about the pedofiles on AOL. When i actually used the AIM client guys would IM me all the time thinking i was some 12 year old chick. Not cool.

Wow, Foxx373 I agree again! I HATE it when people abbreivate... you just wish people would talk properly. If I could code, i'd make it so whatever someone types is automatically converted into Proper English...

LOL!!! Proper English, on AIM. You would need to be a code GOD to do that! You would need to figure out how to female of the dog species-smack someone when they start to AIM-Speak. On a cell fone i can understand, but on a computer... W T F ! (and i only abbreviate that cause i cant say copulate!) I see 16 year old kids that can type 100+ words per minute, and they usually abbreviate. Like it saves THAT much time!?

Meh... on my forum in the word censor I virtually eliminated abbreviations (except L337, because I like L337sp33k

), and I can type 100 words per minute without abbreviation, and i'm only 14
