Deadaim
Hey does anyone have the deadaim installer? Thanks im on my msn now.
I love deadaim
It is the best program that enhances aim...I don't get any of those crappy popups when aim starts and the tabbed windows are awesome. Not to mention it has logged IM's. I've heard about aimutation, but I never tried it...so far i'll just stick with good old dead aim
@triton: Dead Aim is basically an addon to AIM with more enhanced features. To me, it makes it more worth having aim because of them
Here is the official homepage http://www.jdennis.net/DeadAIM/downloads.php

I hate AIM. It can be exploited sooo easily, and all the viruses that propogate through it... and all the 30 yearold twisted, sick copulates that pose as 12-year-olds...
a waste of time.
I use Google Talk because you can talk to the people on your list, and ONLY the people on your list. That way you don't get popup messages asking "hay how r u? a/s/l?"
But if you must use any of them, or more than one, use the open-source GAIM. It's platform-independant, and supports ICQ, AIM, Jabber, Yahoo, IRC, and Trillian protocols, amongothers if memory serves me...

AIM is fine if you avoid those horrifying AOL-made chatrooms, gah! Bad! Bots! I only talk to like 4 people, all of which I've known for a few years (whether it be online or reallife friends), so I think I am safe.

I recently switched back to AIM 5.5 just so I could use DeadAIM again. I missed my no ads, tabs, aliases, and logging. For Mac users, I prefer the Fire messaging program. It does AIM, Yahoo, and MSN, and while not everything is perfect, there are no ads, tabbed windows, aliases, and logging, so I'm set.
