Coming VERY soon...

The first known portable "Turbo Grafx 16"!!!

I was surprised that no one attempted this so it'll be great to do this. I know they have a portable system already called the turbo express, but it's not the same, imo. My project will be portable, yes, but it'll be a big portable mainly cause of the design i have in mind and also, the original mb is pretty big too. The current design in mind is going to be similiar to an arcade machine, but it'll be a miniture version. The backup design is similiar to other common portables you've all seen, just long though.

Everything is almost set to build, I just need to wait for a new controller to arrive and a case I ordered that'll be modified. More to come in the following days from assembly to power requirements and so on.

Uh there is a portable Tg-16, called the Turbographix Express.

It's from 1990, I have one. It's pretty slick, actually. A TFT display (really rare back then) and built-in turbo.

But what I can say - I made a portable Genesis,

@ben: I know there is a turbo express (see first post) :P But like you did, you made a portable genesis and it was to your liking which makes it better. I want this to be to my liking as well even though it may be a bit bigger than your average portable.

@kidw/32+systems: I told you i was going to do this before and after I bought it. You told me afterwards you wanted to do the same thing.

@triton: Yeah....a little TOO much if you ask me, however, it is kinda rare really.

Still waiting for the controller and case to come in. In the meantime, I'm getting the screen ready, as well as planning out how i wanna do this still.
