A few questions(DS hacking and homebrew sites)

Post by yal on a slow computer »

Okay folks, I wanted to know a few things.

One, has anybody cracked open a DS or something similar yet?

And two, where can I find a site that has a lot of homebrew apps? I only know emulator sites, and those aren't all that useful when you need other things.

Also, BONUS QUESTION: If you take the GBA-to-gamecube adaptor and use it along with a GBA-to-USB adaptor, can you use the GB as a joystick?

Well, you know about the GBA to gamecube link cable thing, right? Well, I was thinking that if maybe you plugged THAT into one of the adaptors you can get off of liksang, maybe you could use the GBA as a computer joystick. Think it'd work?

yeah? didnt you just repeat me?

any way the ds is going to be a lot of fun for developers because of that wireless link up and cost efective flash cart.. just emagine the things people could do with pirate dev programs (port snes nes 64 and dreamcast games, internet browsers, and drawing programs) its going to be a vary nice system to mess with.
