Oh also to clear up something i saw earlier in the thred about the PS2 graphics sucking. the PS2 has great graphics capabilities, it depends on how the developer optomizes the game for good graphics, I know some will hate me for this but look at Killzone (by the way I personally love that game) it has some of the most impressive graphics this generation, God of War too. its because developers like Killzone's Guarilla know how to optomize the game to produce smooth amazing graphics. now think of games for xbox like the simpsons road rage, no effort whatsoever. that is all i have to say.
P.S. oh and another thing the PS2 is older than the rest so get of it's back.

I suppose Ben's right. Sony isn't the first to be protective of their product (whether or not you think it's overly done). I suppose Spongey's right, too. That doesn't make it right.

Then again it doesn't make it wrong. I suppose we need to step back and ask "How rampant is media siwpeing?" And I don't mean world-wide (that China figure would make the world look terrible!

), I mean in North America. I hate to be so biased, but that's where the majority of us are from, and it'd give us a better base of argument. Sony could easily have regional regulations for media (like those regional DVD's, just...not

).I'm not aware of any major problem here in the US or Canada (those crazy mexicans, though...

), so it must be somewhere else. Then again, I'm not aware of everything.

In my own little world, this all really doesn't affect me. All the music I have, I bought. All the equipment I own, isn't tagged or crap. I don't much expensive stuff (just my DS), and I don't think I really ever will.

As I said earlier, these new times scare the ba-jeebers out of me. Too goddamned partisan. When did politics and law become a part of video games and groovin' to some tunes? Don't tell me. I don't want to know.

Yeah thats the only reason I would get a ps2 is for that game i'll wait until the ps2 gets cheap and buy it and that game!

HAVE DRM the drm was designed for some media writing hardware that Sony is working on, it has NEVER!!! been planned for the PS3 EVER!!! this was a rumor started by a bunch of XBOX FANBOYS who had no proof but the pattent that was never even tied to the PS3 in any way, and adapted it to the PS3 because it was Sony's next console and they wanted to make Sony look bad. DON'T BELIEVE THE LIES

THE PS3 HAS NO DRM NONE NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVER!!!!!!!!
