Oooh, I forgot my best way of describing the PS3 controller: They look like those gamepads you see advertised for next to nothing at compusa or something. You know, for maybe $3 after rebate. Believe me, there is a reason that those are so cheap, and I cannot see any meaning whatsoever to having such long controllers. If you're going to actually use the super long handles (which look worst to me) that seems really uncomfortable. But if you aren't, why bother having them?

I'll be honest with you - I would have never guessed that.

I say the Revolution... Innovation! Xbox 360 just has a good controller. PS3 is just way too expensive (HORRIBLE CONTROLLER!). The Rev. just is all new to people and is scaring them.

Yes I agree - while I like Sony products, the PS3 controller looks like utter ass.

Though the photos look like utter FAKE ass, so hopefully it's jusy a mockup and the real final one will be better.

The 360 controller is actually pretty decent... compared to the prior Xbox gamepads. It's not bad, I wouldn't mind having one as my PC gamepad.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that that's near to the final design of the controller. I believe it went something like "no major changes will be made to the design of the PS3 controller before launch". Not sure if my source was legit because I can't remember where I read it, but I'm thinking that might be close to their final controller design. They obviously were proud of it if they showed it at E3 a year before launch, so I doubt they'd be too keen to change it.

As for the Xbox 360 controller, I like it quite a bit, almost as much as the gamecube controller. I like the fact that its quite small and the button placement is still pretty good. The only complaint I had was the fact that I'd always hit that "help" button or whatever the heck they call it that's the 360 logo instead of hitting start. It just seemed natural to me for that to be the start button, so that frustrated me. Maybe I'm just an uncoordinated loser though...Oh yeah, the prices are a little steep for the controllers too. $40 for a wired controller, and $50 for a wireless? That just seems too much to me, especially since in order to have enough controllers for a decent multiplayer situation a person would need to pay 120 extra for wired action and 150 extra for wireless.
