worst. day. ever.

Post by totokan »

My noac projects are gone.
Not one is left, anywhere.
Apparantly, my parents thought they were junk and tossed em. They were mostly apart for taking pictures, so I don't blame them as much as I blame myself. They said sorry, but i'm still mad that all my hard work was for naught. Oh, also, I failed latin by one point.

not a noac, but my portables, the niac1 and niac2 (cart and controller). also I think(unconfirmed as of now) that my nes-h is gone, too. But my bro. might have taken it to use, then at least I will still have one.
EDIT: Yah, the nes-h is still around. It's not in a servicable state, but at least it's not at the dump. My brother had it, he's not too bright, trying to play something with wires sticking out everywhere. Luckily, there was A) no batteries and B) no screen. He figured that out, and than went to do something else (I hope).
Now I know, never waste the rest of your school day (when you have a half day) at your friends house.

bene= good (adj.)
miser=bad (adj.)
sum=is? (i know it's first person singular irregular verb)
i don't know the rest.
And, that's off the top of my head, first semester of first-year latin.

Sum is referring to one's self, the first sentence was "I am miserable."

The second sentence was "I hope you do better."

ah. We're learning words, and now i need to learn:
is,ea,id(this,that)
hic,haec,hoc(this)
and ille,illa,illud(that)
and the personal pronouns, ego and tu (I and you).
I don't think i've learned anything on how to make a sentence, but apparantly I should. The teacher is a really nice guy, it's just I don't 'get' Latin. Plus, being one of the few people who doesn't cheat on every test makes me seem slow, even if i'm in a scholarship class.

yah, but there's nothing good coming out for me to get, or motivation to start (or finish my current) noac project. On the plus side, my average was a acceptable 86.5. But, to keep my scholarship, all my grades must be higher than 85, 3 or 4 of which are not.

That really sucks man. You really ought to guilt your parents into giving you money for your stuff. They should do it without you even having to get them to.
If my parents ever came into my room to clean up what looks like junk they would need a bull dozer :lol:

It wasn't in my room, because that's somewhere they know I have a lot of electronic stuff out and open. I left in the basement, where the workshop (that has the soldering iron) was. I was running late, so I pushed them into the box that had my old psu's in it (the basement is where my 2 custom pc's are, and I am now). They didn't throw out the psu's, just the projects. apparantly, they thought that they (psu's) weren't garbage. Oh well, it's not their fault I was running late, and I really don't want to start over, or even get money for a new one.
