needing display

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Unless it has standard inputs, you cant use it. Most of those "Prtable game screens" for consoles works wonders. Search for Verge LCD, Hip-Gear LCD, and Intec LCD on google or Ebay. You can also use a small portable TV, but those things are expensive.

I 'thought of buying one but there's one problem im living in germany we don't have them here
perhaps i could get a portable tv but I think there's no way to fit it into a gamegear case together witch a c64 dtv

oh no maby you could switch your components over to NTSC then buy a regular hipgear over ebay or through the trading post

I could get a casio tv-7700 it has composite and adio in but does anyone know if I can fit it into a gamegear case together with a c64dtv board??
