I'm gonna get back to work on it right after Thanksgiving. It's actually extremely close to being done, but still needs a musical score.

and I'm also sure that that trailer needs to be compressed before people start downloading it!

Yeah... An 83.4 Mb .avi file does need a bit of compressing. Not that I know the trailer is 83.4 Mb and the whole .avi thing is just a guess.

Premiere won't run the MJPEG video format that "The Adventurous" was done in, even though it'll play in Windows Media Player. And I don't really want to plug in the 9-year-old PCI digital video card into my PC just to recompress. I just got a clean OS install and want to keep drivers to a minimum.

Therefore, I have no way of further compressing it. Although there is that Windows Media Compressor program... perhaps I should check into that.

If someone wants to host it, or recompress it, I could burn a DVD+R of it with my laptop. (It's about 3.8 gig total, and in 3 separate AVI files)

Dont know if you want to but you could look into using VirtualDub to encode the movie into DivX or some other AVI format that offers a higher compression.

As for the offer of getting the DVD to do it, I would take it but my computer cant read +Rs.
