I have a question

Ok, first off I have a DS. But my DS is beat up, has gashes in the case, the screen is scratched all to hell, and my warranty is about to expire.
My question is should I brake my DS and get a new one before the warranty runs out or keep it and like with a beat up system?

Your opinions will decide wether to samsh it and get a new one or not.

Smash one of the screens in with your forehead in frustration.

That's what I did with my GBC. The screen started oozing sort of like a rainbow. It was cool. They replaced it!

You, are the people who make gameboys more expencive btw. Or anything for that matter. People like you are the ones who make the price go up. I say you keep it and do a mod with it.

Hey I paid my $20 dollar warranty. If I choose to keep the prices of Gameboys up thats my descison.

Unless you have accidental insurance, dont break it by smashing it. If you have a standard warenty, it only covers "natural" malfunctions. Your best bet is pump WAAAY too much voltage into it and fry it. That way it looks like an internal malfunction, not something you did to it, like bash it into a wall.

If you can find any small holes, you can stick a pin in there to try to short it. If Nintendo doesn't take it, scam Wal-Mart.

If you really want to do that just be warned, it coun'ts as warrenty fraud and you could end up paying $5000+ in legalaty costs or if you can't pay that go to jail.

Just my opinion tho, feel free to do what you want.
