Could we mod a video now, to play dvd's. If so...it would rock!

You mean those crappy 'kid players'. Strictly no. IF you could encode the VideoNow signals into DVD, it could work, and THATS A BIG IF.

of course you could. you'd be gutting it and replacing everything, but if you can get it in there... with those 7" personal dvd players hitting the $60 range it's possible and now affordable--but that's still such a waste.

No. Just like a nomad screen they run off of digital inputs, so you would need a chroma decoder like Kevin Horton's, l337 $0ld3r1n9 $k1llz, and a lot of patience.

a lot of pocket tvs are close.
though a lot of pocket tvs are pretty bad too, you'll have to see.

Ben used that 3.5" screen from that website, you'd just have to cut the Gamegear a little. anyways, the link is in the screen hacking FAQ.
