MY mp3 player got washed and dried(left it in my pocket) yeah yeah yeah Im stupid "hahaha" can I use any of the old parts for a minty mp3? The LCD works fine, and I havent opened it up, but anything I could use for my Minty mp3, or anything I could do with it?
did you turn it on? most electronics can actuly withstand a god deal of water (GBA SPs have been known to make it through a wash no problem). Just let it dry for a few days before you start it up.
If you did turn it on you might have shorted something out.
Yeah it works not so good, it only has 15 songs, and lights up randomly, and is sllllowww in responce time, but what would have gotten distoried from the washer and drier?
Noting can get distroyed technicly, but some people drop it into the water and then quickly turn it on, or drop it in on and the water shorts out all the insides by creating a current between pins that shouldn't be connected.
Alright so no inside parts were harmed by the water, or intence heat, but what about it getting beaten around, it has no battle scars. How would I fix this current?
Just let it dry for 2 or 3 days, just let it sit near a heater (not on tho, don't want it to melt) untill it seems far dryer than it needs to be, if it still dosn't work then your up the creek.

Try opening it up. Then spread the parts apart as much as you safely can with them still attatched, and let it dry for a couple days in a warm, dry place. It might work properly again. (it worked on an old GBC I got from a classmate.)

Matter? Yes you are right about things not being able to be destroyed, although there is a possiblity it will not function correctly.
I'm the man, if you don't think so, you're wrong.

From my understanding if its flash then it should be fine. I read a review about one that got washed and it was fine. Mine (A rio carbon) was not flash so all storage is gone. The screen still works fine and the battery but thats all.
My friend had an old ipod, left in his shirt, it got washed, adn wad water got into the screen. It looked like a fish tank, but he let it dry for a week and he worked. He didnt try to turn it on until he was sure it had dried, so thats probably why it worked.
