Christmas lights to a new level

Trust me, this is amazing! It's a bunch of christmas light segments synching almost perfectly with a song, and is hysterical to watch. I'd just hate to be the neighbor across the street...

From what I understand, he has some FM transmitters so people can listen to the music with it in the car

EDIT; I was just thinking about how cool it would be if there was a computer app that which you could do that with. Might be a possibility.

Still, that's pretty cool.

I was thinking it might be something like that. He could've created a program based on WMPs 'Bars' visualisation(the values used for bar height), or found some software for doing that. I was also thinking about if he had a multi-channel stereo system, and used some simple logic gates(or a PIC) to determine what combination of channels was being used and how at what levels.

WMP uses overlays so using Printscreen won't work. You'll have to chnage the blitting method.

That is so cool I wondr how long it took that guy to program those lights when to turn on and off.
